Winery Introduction

Chitose Winery, established in 1988.
We began making wine from Hascup, Japanese honeysuckle, a berry associated as the fruit of long youthful life from the tree growing around Chitose.
Currently, we also make wine with Pinot noir and Kerner grapes cultivated by contracted farmers in Yoichi.
At the winery tours and wine tastings are held free of charge.
You can purchase wine that takes your fancy at the sales area.

Kerner holds a robust aroma for months undergoing sur lie aging making a dry white wine with profound flavors.
It has a clear lemon green color. The special characteristics of this wine are the fresh flowery fruity aroma of Muscat and white peach and the refreshing lime and herb flavor.
Please enjoy the fragrance of the refreshing acidity.
